SRS designed their economical model PSS 200 pulleys as a replacement for original stamped steel pulleys. These pulleys are frequently found in mid 20th century single-glazed residential windows.
Like the originals, these pulleys are made of zinc plated steel. The round bottom sheave is intended to be used with #8 sash cord, for example Samson Red Spot. Sash chain is not recommended. Like the originals, serrated “fins” at the top and bottom of the housing are designed to “dig-in” and secure the pulley where they are mortised through the jamb.
The pulleys are available individually and in 20 piece cases.
Higher-end residences, commercial and institutional buildings require our larger PBB series of ball bearing pulleys, click here for more information.
